Beastie Boys, ACC, Nov.8th, 2004

Awesome show! Opening act was Bob Monroe and his Amazing Mongrels. Yup. A dog circus. Next up for was Talib Kweli. Heard of him before, but wasn't sure what to expect. He was alright. Maybe a little too hard core for the crowd, but his DJ threw down some classic hip hop tracks and Talib rhymed on top. Beastie's set was jam packed, lots of classic Beastie tunes and tracks off the new CD too. Some highlights include... Adrock asking the crowd to sing the words to "Paul Revere", first couple of verses sung by the crowd... Mix Master Mike tearing up the turntables. Crisp, clean and fast as hell. He also dropped various beats under classic Beastie tunes... MCA stopping mid-song and scolding "frat boys" for body-surfing ...
